I have admired Greg Louganis for many years. I would follow his diving on TV and had the chance to watch him compete and win gold at the World University Games in the early 80s (the same event where a Russian diver struck his head on the platform and died).
After diving I followed and applauded his work at breaking the stigma around HIV and AIDS.
I wish him a long, happy and successful life. He could sit back and rest on his laurels but he continues to give back - a sign of a remarkable person.
