I went through the physical trauma but my poor mom had to go through the emotional trauma. My sister reminded me today that she went through a similar situation. The doctor misdiagnosed her with constipation. Her appendix burst. She was in the hospital for weeks recovering from it... but she recovered. And again it was so traumatic for our mom.
