This to me sounds like a perfect moment frozen in your memory.

A courtyard in an ancient village, surrounded by vineyards. French voices raised in song as the tricolour fluttered in the evening breeze. If someone had yelled ‘cut’ it wouldn’t have surprised me. I’m not often moved to tears, but that night did it to me.
Call It Le Quatorze Juillet or La Fête Nationale,   But If You’re In France  Don’t Call It…
