What a beautiful article with some great advice that comes straight from your big heart. I have had a lot of death in my life beginning with elderly relatives when I was a child and even my 3rd grade teacher. When my grandmother died and I was working in radio, I produced an award winning documentary on death and dying. I explored the ways various religions approach it and what Elizabeth Kubler Ross wrote. I don’t agree with everything she said but a lot of it made sense. You have provided a heartfelt roadmap to help someone through the process.

“Your sorrow is the inevitable result of circumstances beyond your control” Elizabeth Kubler Ross.

I liked this quote because it aligns with my philosophy to “accept the things we cannot change”

Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I wish I could give you a big hug and pour you a cup of peppermint tea and honey.
